Tram museum line 21
On the last weekend of every month (except December), the Museum Line 21, probably the most beautiful tram line in Zurich, runs through Bahnhofstrasse and Limmatquai.
The vehicles in the tram museum may be historic, but they are far from obsolete. Part of the museum fleet - the oldest vehicle was built in 1897 - runs on museum line 21.
Stylish from head to wheel
Museum Line 21 is operated by the Zurich Tram Museum Association. The drivers, dressed in their old uniforms, work on a voluntary basis and regularly bring a sparkle to people's eyes and astonishment to the city centre.
Operating days
The Museum Line 21 always runs on the last weekend of the month (except in December) between Burgwies / Tram Museum and the main railway station. The vehicles stop at all stops en route. A valid ZVV ticket is all you need to travel on the line.
Vehicle deployment summer timetable
From March to October, four-axle motor coaches with trailers are usually in use on Saturdays and two-axle vehicles on Sundays. With "Elefant", "Pedaler" and "Kurbeli", three four-axle vehicles are available. On Sunday, the two-axle vehicles "ZOS" and "LSB" will be used. Subject to change.
The vehicles to be used will be published in the agenda during the week of the operating days.
Vehicle deployment winter timetable
In November, January and February, one of our two Mirages runs on Museum Line 21.
