A guided tour of the Tram Museum offers you an overview of the more than 100-year history of the Zurich tram. In and around the restored carriages, you will learn interesting facts about the technical development, network expansion and operation. Old ticket machines and uniforms will remind you of long-forgotten tram journeys and our museum presenters will also share anecdotes and curiosities.
Several guided tours can be organised at the same time for larger groups.
Events for groups can also be booked outside opening hours.
Guided Tours
A guided tour of the Tram Museum, explaining over a 100 of years of the history of the Zurich Tram system. You will look in and around a restored Tram, looking at technical changes, the design and how a tram works. Old ticket machines and uniforms help recreate the forgotten memories of past Tram travel, together with anecdotal stories and travel curiosities.
