STMZ | Foundation
The Zurich Tram Museum Foundation was founded on 10 December 2007 and is responsible for the operation of the Tram Museum Burgwies.
Foundation purpose
The purpose of the foundation is to communicate the history and significance of public transport in Zurich and the surrounding area in a lively manner. The Zurich Tram Museum Association, the Zurich Tram Museum Support Association and the City of Zurich (usually with at least one person from the Zurich transport company) are represented on the Foundation Board.
