Whether a wedding or a birthday party, the annual firm excursion or some important day - the Tram Museum can be the perfect location for your event.
The Zurich Tram Museum can be hired for major occasions and special events. Built in 1893, the vehicle hall offers an impressive ambience and the necessary infrastructure to make it an exclusive location for a wedding banquet or concert.
Events and renting
Events
In the Tram Museum you can celebrate children's birthday parties or weddings, put on a theatre performance or organise a photo shoot. Events for larger groups and public events such as theatre, readings, product presentations etc. have also been held at the Depot Burgwies.
- Smaller occasions or events that do not disrupt museum operations can also be organised during opening hours.
- Large events are usually organised outside museum opening hours.
Space available
More space can be created in the large vehicle hall for special events by moving vehicles or placing them on the forecourt if necessary. We can then also host a dinner for up to 200 people.
Catering
Depending on the event, we work with various catering companies and cater entirely to your wishes. From a small aperitif with snacks after a tour of the museum to a gala dinner, anything is possible.
Extra trips
We can pick you and your guests up in a historic tram or take you punctually to the next stop on your programme for the day.
Bar car
Our lovingly remodelled bar car with built-in bar and seating can be hired for small events.
